The Tempranillo grapes used in the winemaking process of this wine come from estate-owned vineyards over 80 years old, with very low yields. Harvested by hand into small crates followed by selection on the sorting table.
Malolactic fermentation and ageing took place in new, French-oak casks. Only available in those years when the vintage was of a very high quality.
